Whats the difference?
The majority of cleaning companies working within the London area are
actually cleaning worker agencies. They advertise for positions, hold
candidates cvs on file and then call them when work comes in. If you are
asked to interview the cleaner, pay them directly, or pay an upfront referral
fee, then the company you are using is an agency.
Bloomsbury Cleaning Services was formed with the core aim of providing a
top end cleaning service at a fair price. We did not feel that providing an
agency service would fulfil these aims.
As we permanently employ our cleaners, our management personally know
the cleaner who is visiting your property, and have a relationship of trust with
them built up through their supervised training and mentoring period of
probation. We will never send a newly appointed member of staff out on their own unless supervised by their appropriate
mentor. This gives you the extra security of knowing that the keys to your home or business are safe with a cleaner who
is known and trusted.
With us, you will always be able to speak to management if you have any complaints or concerns. We will work closely
with you and your cleaners to ensure that your cleaning requirements are satisfied. All cleaning work is subject to a
preliminary no obligation site inspection by senior staff and all information from this is filtered back to the cleaners. For
regular domestic cleaning work and office cleaning, we will always introduce the cleaner or cleaners to you on the first
visit.
Our Guarantee.
We are so confident in the service we provide that all our work,
with the exception of events cleaning, is subject to a 100%
Satisfaction Guarantee.
Put simply, if you are not satisfied with a session during a
regular cleaning job, we do not expect you to pay, and you are
the only judge. For deep cleaning work, we will return to the
property until you are happy, or offer a refund if the issues
cannot be resolved.
Our guarantee works for both you and us. For you, it ensures
that you only receive a gold standard level of service. For us, it
builds our reputation and helps maintain excellent working
practices throughout the Company.
Where do we cover?
We cover all of London and can accommodate all work within the M25. We also have a
good client base within Buckinghamshire, particularly around Henley, Marlow and High
Wycombe. We are always happy to provide quotes for work within the home counties as
we have cleaners based outside London.
Recruitment and Training.
We employ all our cleaners directly and they are therefore subject to full holiday and sick
pay, which differs from most other cleaning companies who use self-employed contractors.
Whilst this increases staff well-being and motivation, it also gives the customer an added
level of security and reliability as we know and trust our staff to do the best job possible.
They are not employed on a random basis when demand dictates. All cleaners are subject
to a probationary and mentoring period under direct supervision of a manager to assess
whether they have the right attitude to our work and to provide training. All cleaners are
fully insured and security checked.
Green Cleaning.
Bloomsbury Cleaning Services is currently in the process of going completely eco-friendly. We are in talks to become
distributors of Bio-Productions cleaning products which include many naturally derived raw-materials, plant extracts &
harmless biological compounds that have a reduced environmental impact. The products often out-perform conventional
cleaning chemicals while also reducing exposure to operatives and members of the public who may come into contact
with cleaning products. Many of Bio-Productions products contain naturally occurring enzymes that eat away at dirt,
which in many cases carries on working for a longer period of time than simply flushing a system through with standard
corrosive cleaning chemicals.
In the case of office cleaning, our Eco-friendly credentials will contribute towards your working space achieving a higher
BREEAM rating and fulfilling your company’s environmental policy objectives.
Congestion Charge.
We hate the Congestion Charge, and we are sure you do as well! As our offices were originally located within Bloomsbury
(hence the name of the company) a large proportion of our customers are located within the charging zone. We therefore
can absorb the cost of the Congestion Charge rather than pass it on to our customers. Nice isn’t it?
Health and Safety and other policy requirements.
We can provide all environmental policies, insurance documentation, recruitment policies etc on request. We would
endeavour to provide bespoke method statements, risk assessments etc where appropriate in order to ensure clients
comply with COSHH, PAT and Health and Safety legislation.
